Become a Sponsor
Purchase a library box and teacher training package(s) for any of the rallies in our program. Join us on the rally weekend to personally deliver your donation(s) to the schools. Click on the “Register” button at the top of the page. All funds are paid directly to The READ Educational Trust, which will provide a section 18A tax certificate to all sponsors and donors.

If you are unable to participate in the rally weekend, you can still support the program by clicking on the “Donate” button at the top of the page. These funds go directly to The READ Educational Trust and will be used to purchase additional books and training resources for the rally schools.
Purchase Extras
Through our Get Involved page, you can donate additional items beyond literacy materials to the schools you visit. Various options are available, such as school shoes, multi-disciplined sports kits, power supply porridge, etc.

Making a Real Difference Where Needs Are Great
In rural education, resources are severely limited, and teachers often face the most challenging as a result:
– The reading skill level of the average 16-year-old in rural schools lags up to seven years behind that of an average urban child.
– Consequently, the drop-out rate in rural schools, from primary to senior school, exceeds 50%.
– The repeater rate among rural learners is excessive and costly.
– Most youth leaving rural schools struggle to find employment. Those who qualify for tertiary studies face significant challenges due to poorly developed foundational skills.
Experiencing Africa at Its Best
The rally convoys travel to beautiful, seldom-visited parts of the country, receiving warm traditional welcomes wherever they stop.
Personal Delivery – Not Merely a Handover
Sponsors personally deliver materials, witnessing firsthand where their money is invested and meeting the beneficiaries. Each school is visited for three consecutive years, allowing the impact of this investment to be tracked.
